Reaching consumers with our message to encourage the enjoyment of beef is paramount to driving demand. We employ various strategies to reach consumers as they are making decisions about food.


  • Augments NC Cattlemen’s Beef Council programs and activities to promote beef in North Carolina

  • Support televised segments to promote beef at various times throughout the year
  • Support of Bar B Que Boot camps to encourage the use of beef

  • NC Cattle Industry Assessment supports NCSU Farm Animal Days, reaching over ten thousand in attendance.  This three day event is hosted at the E. Carroll Joyner beef unit and is designed to give children and their caregivers experience with food animal agriculture.

  • Supports southeast states beef promotions for summer grilling, holiday campaign, and more. Utilizes social media platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Google, and more to reach consumers in our target areaTeam Beef North Carolina gathers members with various experience levels and personal backgrounds. No previous AG background is required to join the team
  • NC State Fair commodities educational exhibit

  • Farm city weeks across our state

Team Beef

Team Beef North Carolina is composed of athletes who support and recognize the nutritional benefits of lean beef and the important role that high-quality protein sources play in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. Team Beef North Carolina gathers members with various experience levels and personal backgrounds. No previous agriculture background is required to join the team.
