PLEASE READ!

We have become aware over the past few months that delivery of The Carolina Cattle Connection is getting later and later each month, if it’s delivered at all. The problem stems from the closing of several U.S. Postal Service delivery hubs across North and South Carolina. We have been in contact with other publications across the country. The problem is nationwide.
The magazine is being printed and mailed in a timely fashion. However, since it is considered “third class” postage, it is not a priority once is reaches the post office. A delivery delay of up to three weeks has always been a possibility but was rare. Now that the hubs are being closed, the three-week delay has become a near certainty in some areas. In other areas it is even later.

The staff of The Carolina Cattle Connection would like to apologize for any problems this has caused.

To the members: If you are receiving your issue later than normal, I recommend contacting your local post office to inform them of the problem.

To the advertisers: I suggest advertising any upcoming sales at least ONE month in advance, regardless of the sale date. If the sale is earlier in the month, I recommend advertising TWO months in advance. If the situation does not improve, we may look into making submission deadlines earlier in the month in order to allow an additional week for delivery.
